Groups, Seminars & Events

The centre has a programme of events, seminars and workshops throughout the year, with more being added all the time.  See the "News and Events" section of the website for more information.

Interdisciplinary Clubs and Groups

In addition CCACE supports a number of interdisciplinary clubs and groups. Seven currently active groups are run by Centre members.

Themed Discussion Days

CCACE is also introducing a new format for scientific discussion: a series of themed discussion days. Each meeting, designed to facilitate academic discussion, will centre around one scientific theme with various invited speakers (both internal and external) giving a range of viewpoints and information. The meetings are closed academic sessions and are not open to the lay public as our seminars are.
