Asaad began his PhD with CCACE in 2013/2014. He is investigating social cognition in healthy ageing and neurodegenerative diseases. A secondary aim is to explore ways to improve diagnosis of social cognitive deficits and the behavioural changes that occur with this impairments.

He is part of the Cognitive Ageing II: Human Cognitive Neuroscience group and is supervised by Dr Sarah MacPherson and Dr Sharon Abrahams.
